The Hunger Games Headcanons: Johanna Mason was actually a part of the sexual scheme in the Capitol after her first Hunger Games. Not unlike Finnick, she had to perform to the wealthy Capitol citizens and sleep with any of them if asked. Under the threat of losing someone she loved, she agreed with playing along like she was having the time of her life, which made her sick. Cashmere did the same, but she would have done it almost willingly, showing pride on being a jewel to even the President himself. Both of them had to wear a necklace that worked as a tracker and were under a constant watch. One day, her brother managed to get her out of there, but their plan to escape failed miserably, as not only he, but her entire family was killed in front of her. Snow chose to let her live because he knew that letting her live with the burden of being responsible for the death of everyone she loved was a greater pain than death itself.
